It’s been a little bit of a busy week for content, and it’s my birthday as well.

So nothing of note happened in the world of TTRPGs this week.

Comic Reviews Galore

So I had 2 reviews this week, and all the comics were amazing.

House Haunters #2 is basically what I expected and more. This issue takes what happened last issue and cranks it up to 100. I’m so ready for the last 3 issues.

Now this is a comic I have been waiting for. Elspeth’s story hasn’t been seen since the events of the Theros: Beyond Death set way back in January 2020. So, this comic is the perfect way to continue where we left off. This first issue sets up what’s coming, and I can’t wait for the last 3 issues.

TV Updates

So we have some show updates to talk about.

Ok, so we got the rest of the BTS videos with the rest of the cast that have dropped.

So it is interesting to see some of these clips, just because we still don’t totally know what to expect this season with Sarah. It will be interesting to see where her character goes this season.

I’m pretty interested to see where Joe goes this season. Finally getting to see him do more investigative work outside of the team bullpen last season was fun. And from what this video shows, we will be getting more of him outside of the bullpen.

Well, the good news is Jesse is up to his usual antics. Like Joe, we finally got him out of the team bullpen last season, and from the looks of it, he’s getting out of the office more this season.

Now, outside of these, the show image on the TV Guide, if you still have cable like me, is updated, as is the image when you put ION Plus on as well. So I still think we might get the new season sooner rather than later, but we will see.

We also got a new 30-second teaser for the season, and I’m very excited to see where this season goes:

We also got a little of the Most Likely To game that the cast played together.

This Hour Has 22 Minutes Is Back For Season 33

Ignore the fact that the image is for last season, I can’t download the new one for Season 33 just yet. The first episode for the new season aired Tuesday night. I have watched what they have posted to the show’s IG page, along with some stuff that is on the YouTube page as well.

Now I do want to show you something that they did. Longtime This Hour Has 22 Minutes cast member, Mark Critch, did a whole story on the book ban that has been enacted in Alberta, and he makes all of the valid points as to why this is bad:

Yup, you’re reading that right, I just turned 27 literally 24 hours ago. And yeah: I STILL FEEL OLD.

Update For Next Week

So I’m on vacation next week, so I might have a newsletter out next week, I might not, it depends. But if I don’t, the following week will have a combo of next week and the following week.
